Dunes Course Ranked #82 in GOLF’s 2020-2021 Top 100 Courses in America
November 3, 2020 —
It’s a first and valued recognition from one of the most respected rankings in all of golf.
The Dunes Course ranked #82 in GOLF’s 2020-2021 Top 100 Courses in the United States.
All private and public courses in America’s 50 states are eligible for recognition in this biennial ranking.
Our Dunes Course is honored among some of the game’s most famed and historic courses, including Pine Valley, Oakmont, Sand Hills, Augusta National, and many others.
The raters for GOLF.com also had some nice things to say about The Prairie Club in their heartland-centered list —
The Dunes Course ranked #18 in GOLF’s 50 Best Golf Courses in the Midwest.
Quoted as an “epic homage to links golf,” the Dunes impressed GOLF.com with its “sweeping vistas, rolling fairways, enormous bunkers, and imaginative green complexes.”
Co-architects Tom Lehman and Chris Brands sought to shape the course from the inside out, revealing the dramatic figure of the land in a way exhilarating to the avid golfer.
The philosophy and result is one beloved by golfers near and far, published and unpublished.
As our relatively young club continues to gain foothold, our rankings in established lists from publishers like GOLF have the opportunity to climb.
These distinctions are truly a great and cherished honor.
