PINES 18 ACHIEVES TONY DEAR’S HONOR FOR FAVORITE 18TH HOLE

There are around 70,000 public golf holes in America.
This means there are thousands and thousands of 18th holes.
Amidst this, Tony Dear of LINKS embarked on a mission to unveil his most cherished 18 golf holes, crafting two distinct sections – the front nine and the back nine.
When building out his back nine, it was hole 18 that captivated Dear’s heart.

Dear’s description of this hole paints a vivid picture:
“This remarkable hole presents a myriad of choices, and it might take a few attempts to decide on the best route. The 18th hole gracefully curves to the left, with stately pines about a hundred yards apart, gracing the left edge of the fairway. If you’re feeling bold and find yourself far enough down the fairway following your tee shot, you can ignore the second bend and go directly for the green – but only if you’re in the mood for a thrilling challenge.”
