4,500.

That’s how many irrigation heads are on property, according to a recent interview with Dunes Superintendent Andrew Getty.

Backyard Farmer host Kim Todd interviewed Getty this week as part of a special segment featuring the Prairie Club.

“What’s fun about being a golf course superintendent is that it really can be something different every day,” said Getty.

If you’ve ever wondered what a day in the life of a golf course superintendent looks like, Getty walks viewers through his typical day. If there is such a thing…

“There’s roughly 220 acres of maintained turf spread across 2500 acres,” said Getty.

And every square inch is beautiful.
